I know I’ve been blowing it up with Saucony, but what can I say? Great kicks for a great price and these Saucony Shadow 6000 Betta Pack in yellow and black are no exception!
Just like the Coral pair I reviewed a couple days ago, these are based off of the Betta fish (i.e. the bright colors). Other than the different shade used on the upper, these are exactly the same as the other pair. Good thing I like Shadow 6ks!
These are made of mesh and suede with the “S” branding in leather on the side. The suede is more like a Shadow 5000 rather than lush – closer to felt in texture. Also, the yellow colorway for some reason kind of highlights the lines of the shoe a little bit more, and I’m undecided as to whether that looks good. Regardless, the shoe’s construction seems solid enough and the materials are definitely good for the price paid.
The Saucony Shadow 6000 Betta Pack yellow is very light and comfortable like other pairs of Sauconys. You definitely will get that retro runner vibe with the shape on these – even though they look kind of bulky on the shelf and in the box, on foot they look almost perfect and they definitely don’t feel bulky when worn.
